Randomized Controlled Trial on a Technological Innovation in Primary Education (Senegal)

With funding from the Fund for Innovation in Development. and the Learning for All Initiative of Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), we are evaluating a technological innovation implemented by Libraries Without Borders . The intervention equips primary schools with a digital kit composed of an Ideas Cube, tablets, and a video projector. The Ideas Cube is an offline server containing hundreds of video, audio, and text resources designed to support teaching and learning.

The evaluation covers 140 primary schools across the three departments of the Kédougou region in Senegal. We partnered with INEADE to implement a rigorous data collection protocol in all participating schools.
