Tailored Supportto Meet Your Needs

Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs)
We support you at every stage of a randomized controlled evaluation—from study design and project management to data collection and analysis—to ensure a rigorous and credible assessment of your programs. Members of the EVAL-LAB team have contributed to more than 40 randomized controlled trials worldwide. Whether you require guidance on research design, data collection protocols, recruitment strategies, or statistical analysis, we work alongside you to deliver high-quality evaluations.
While we are development economists, we systematically partner with local data collection organizations, which we train and closely supervise to guarantee high standards of data quality and ethical practice.
Quasi-Experimental Evaluations
When randomized evaluations are not feasible, we apply state-of-the-art quasi-experimental methods to estimate causal impacts. These include: difference-in-differences (standard, matching-based, or synthetic control), event study designs, regression discontinuity designs. These approaches allow us to rigorously assess the impact of public policies and programs using observational data.
Literature reviews
We conduct rigorous and comprehensive literature reviews across a wide range of public policy areas, synthesizing the best available evidence to inform program design, evaluation strategies, and evidence-based decision-making.
